Event Information
Arrival
There is one main entrance for audiences, please enter via the Bridgehouse entrance on Colston Street.
Queues are likely. We recommend you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that completing the RSVP form does not guarantee you entry.
Bag Checks
We may ask to check your bag on entry to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Please cooperate with our security team if your bag is requested to be checked.
Large luggage items are not permitted at this event (larger than a small backpack).
There will not be a cloakroom at this event.
Re-entry
You are welcome to come and go as you please during the Housewarming. If there is a queue when you return to the event you will need to re-join it.
Cloakroom
There is no cloakroom available at this event. Please keep your belongings with you.
Buggy Parking
There will be a buggy parking area on Level 3, Bridge E until 16:00.
Ear Protection
Ear plugs will be available on request from the box office or if you ask a Bristol Beacon Steward. We recommend the use of these for ages 12 upwards. For those with little ears requiring ear defenders rather than plugs, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to bring their own ear protection.
Smoking
Bristol Beacon is a non-smoking building. For this event there is a designated smoking area on the concourse available from 5pm.
No smoking is allowed on the terrace on Level 3. Electronic cigarettes or cigarettes are not allowed anywhere inside the building.
Children under 18
This event can be attended by all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please be aware this event features lively performances with loud amplified music. We expect all performance spaces to be very busy, with standing room only.
We advise families and caregivers of children under 18 to take responsibility for their young people’s safety, particularly in the evening hours of the event. There will not be a creche at The Housewarming.
Lost People
If you are lost during the event, or have lost a friend or family member, please speak to a steward or a member of our Front Of House team who will help you.
If you have lost someone during the event please tell a steward or report to box office on the ground floor.
Medical
There will be a medic on site during The Housewarming to support anyone who may need medical attention. They will be based in a welfare room in Bridgehouse. If you need help, please speak to a steward or a member of our Front Of House team.
Quiet Room
If you would like a break from the noise during The Housewarming, Meeting Room 2 room in Bridgehouse will be open and available as a quiet room.
This space is intentionally left clear (apart from furniture) for anyone in need of some quiet time, and we ask that you only use this room as such.

Recycling
We provide recycling bins throughout our buildings which are regularly cleaned by our team. Please use the right bin to enable your waste to go into the correct recycling stream and not into landfill.
Water Fountains
There are water refill stations in Bridgehouse. Feel free to bring your own reusable water bottle.
Food and Drink
We have 4 bars that will be serving drinks from 11.00-01:30.
Bristol Loaf will be serving a selection of hot and cold food until 19.00. Snacks and sandwiches will be available at all other bars throughout the event.
Please do not bring your own alcohol into the venue.
Reusable plastic glasses will be used at this event. There is a £1 deposit for plastic glasses.
Box Office
Our box office will be open until 5pm during The Housewarming. You will be able to buy tickets for future events.
Toilets
There are toilets on every level of Bristol Beacon.
A changing places toilet is available on the Lower Ground Floor of the venue.
Baby changing facilities are available in toilets throughout the venue.
We have Toilets for Everyone available and signposted on all levels of the venue. Toilets for Everyone are for all genders to use. Please do not assume anyone’s gender when using our facilities.
Photography and videography
There will be professional event photography and videography taking place at this event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please speak to a steward.
Safer Spaces & Anti Sexual Harassment
The Housewarming is a place for everyone to celebrate the opening of Bristol Beacon, and we all deserve to feel comfortable and welcome in our venue.
Bristol Beacon will not tolerate any forms of discrimination, harassment, violence or any other kind of offensive behaviour. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any point during the festival, or witness any offensive behaviour, please speak to a member of staff or steward, who will believe you and make sure you are safe.

Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is 50m away directly behind Bristol Beacon.

Bristol Beacon is inside the Bristol Clean Air Zone. Check if your vehicle will be charged and how much you’ll have to pay.
